Norfolk Street Cruisers

Club Cars , Bob Pike

My hot rod history is one of varied styles and frequent car changes, I have no mechanical ability or desire to fiddle with the dirty bits, but most rod builders sell one car to build the next so getting a car and put my personal touches to it is never a problem. The recent past has seen me in a VW based Model A pickup, a lowered Renault 4, a Volksrod, a Model A roadster and more..

As you know this is Bob's page, that means the only constant is "Change" that's right the 1984 Model A pickup will make way for another pick-up.
As the new truck is very much a project the 'A' will remain until the IH is ready, the project comes lowered on a chevy rear axle and a jag front clip, the plan is to run a Jag 4.2 with EIF/LPG and an auto

leaving to make way for the new toy

as delivered, engine has had a trial fit, panels & cab will be blasted to uncover any hidden horrors.

Bob is getting on with his new truck or should I say Mike is. Petes old jag engine is in place with a little massaging of the bulkhead and a steering column is now in place

Latest progress shots, colour will be an understated beige
